Carroll Taylor-Lindoe

 

Born in Calgary, Alberta, 1948
Lives and works in on Denman Island, B.C.

Carroll Taylor-Lindoe (formerly Moppett) has exhibited widely in numerous group and solo exhibitions in both public and private galleries over a career spanning more than four decades. Her work can be found in many public and private collections across Canada. Included among these are the National Gallery of Canada, the Edmonton Art Gallery, the Glenbow Museum (Calgary) the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the McMichael Collection  and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ottawa, as well as major corporate collections and commissions.

In a wide ranging practice, including sculpture, painting, installations and a wide variety of works on paper, the development of a personal vocabulary was of particular importance as was, and is, her intensely sensed relationship with the natural environment.
