A painter and graphic artist of scenes in townships and of figures.  Worked in ink, chalk, charcoal, various graphic media and occasionally in watercolour.  A sculptor

Exhibitions: Participated in group exhibitions from 1965 in SA; 1967 Goodman Gallery, Johannesburg, solo exhibition; 1968 Pretoria, Commemorative Exhibition; his works were included in graphic exhibitions in Europe from 1971; 1979 Contemporary African Art in SA, touring; 1981 Standard Bank, Soweto, Black Art Today Exhibition

Awards: 1965 Certificate of Merit, SAAA, Pretoria; 1967 First Prize, New Signatures, SAAA, Pretoria.
